Couldn’t believe it but YES there is wifi there. It’s not as secluded as others spots but if you need some connexion, it’s PERFECT.

Report Check-In

Great spot as described. Use wifi network ‘Rogue Snowmobilers Guest’ which is a treat since there is no cell signal. Quiet. Much space.

Report Check-In

Free in the off season, level ground and quiet.

Report Check-In

Easy & convenient place to overnight before visiting Crater Lake NP. Shared the lot with 2 others. As previously mentioned, a permit is required to park here Nov. - April & no cell signal (TMobile & Verizon).

Report Check-In

Wide open paved lot, two pit toilets, indoor shelter area. About 10 miles from park entrance. Zero cell service (AT&T or Verizon). Clean and empty, one other RV current parked.

Report Check-In

Exactly as described, a great spot. Slightly downhill, & signs saying you need a permit. But NOTHING was open to buy a permit. So we just crashed for the night and no one bothered us. I heard 1 car go by all night!

The Crater Lake NPS rangers recommended this to me and it was perfect. About a 20 min drive from the Crater Lake West Entrance. The parking lot is massive and would be an ideal spot for RVs and Sprinters. If you’re a tent camper like me, there’s plenty of space back in the woods to pitch a tent and it looked as though you could drive your car in the mulch terrain behind the parking lot to be right by your tent (I didn’t because I was lazy). No AT&T coverage. If I remember the signs correctly, it looks as though no Sno-Pass is needed to park from April-November (i.e. totally free). Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to find a spot near Crater Lake.

There are no established camp sites at the parking lot, but we decided to hole up in the warming hut for the night. Was a nice break from setting up the tent. There is firewood in one of the sheds, but there are no fires allowed outside the shelter. Only saw one other car the whole time we were there. It was a lovely night!

This is a great spot!
We got there late because we watched the sunset over Crater Lake and all the camping spots up in the snow park were taken.
We slept in the parking lot with other RVs and camper. The main highway got very quite at night. The only problem was one of the RVs had a generator on till 1:00AM. It was a bit inconsiderate for all of us others folks. Other than that I’m very thankful for the Snow Park. So let’s keep it clean and let others enjoy it!

Wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Crater Lake. Huge parking lot and multiple campsites. Very dusty but free and quiet!

Report Check-In

Great big parking lot only a handful of other people here with RVs/campers/overland vehicles. Big rig friendly. Nice and quiet.

Report Check-In

great spot, there's an entrance to the campground off of the road just past the parking lot

no campfires allowed, but a nice quiet spot in the woods. startled a bear while going to the bathroom at night, so don't leave anything out at night. the bears in the crater lake area aren't fans of humans, and it's better that it stay that way

This place is sick, great free campsites, some jugs of free water out, spotty but sometimes functional WiFi, etc. There is a little building with electric outlets and lights and we cooked in there and played cards until midnight. Great spot. Very, very dusty though!

Report Check-In

A great spot to camp for a night. A massive parking lot for RV's and campers and lots of room for tent camping. Pit toilets and a great shelter that the snowmobilers use in the winter. Big thanks to the snowmobile club for allowing people to stay for free and keeping the wifi up and running!! Pack out your trash so this great place stays great!

Report Check-In

Great spot. Few campsites, or else a huge parking lot. Free firewood, big shelter, free water jugs. Also had wifi. Thanks to the volunteers who maintain this place, let’s keep it clean!

Un très grand stationnement, nous sommes plusieurs, parfait pour une nuit, espérant que le temps se dégage le lendemain 😉

Free camping off highway. Quiet. Clean pit restrooms. Free firewood inside cabin.
