Description

Camping possible at a hostel, but it's nothing more than a sandy parking lot on ground. Communal kitchen and brai area. Nice staff and good WiFi. You're right at the beach though and they charge 400 Mtc pp.

If you look for a nice, spacious campsite with braai, privat abulutions and a green lawn; this place is not for you. If you are an overland traveler that looks for a relaxed place, close to the beach and a small village with a small market and some restaurants, with lots of activities and nice people, then this might be a good place for a while. Basic, but with a good vibe. 400pppn.

unfortunatly run down place. camsite no shade, no water, no privacy. huts with no comfort, not even towels, no hot water, No pressure in water in shower in shared abolutions. Here they ask for 1500mts per night . Rats playing around the kitchen. kitchen below the Mosambique standard. But close to beach and town.

Report Check-In

still here. campsite possible in the backyard. dorms, rooms, huts also available.
right on the beach. big kitchen, good showers, slow wifi and close to the city center.
no pool. 400 Mt pppn.
we didnt stay and we were going to Mozambeat (cheaper at 300 MT pppn with pool and stong wifi).

As described, good place if you want to stay in town, friendly owner, clean, seems safe. Sandy parking lot with no privacy, currently only cold shower in men's bathroom, WiFi is for Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) only.

We enjoy our stay here. Very good Location, very close to the „center of Tofo“ and next to the beach. Bathrooms are old but clean. Breeze is a great Host how takes good care of her guests.

Report Check-In

All about the location. Otherwise it's just a peice of sand in the yard. Ppl are nice. Place is clean. Quoted 350mets each when we arrived. Came back and said it was high season (on 4ppl staying there) would be 450 mets. When we left they charged us 400mets each, so somewhere In there. The town is great. The market seems to charge tourist 2x-4x the price as elsewhere In Moz. So hopefully you are good a bargaining.
Beautiful town though. Check out Tofo-tofo restaurant on wednesdays. Packed with ppl for live music. *Also the only wifi here is for FB/WhatsApp/Insta, so basically no wifi.

Great place to stay. I stayed four nights and payed 400 MT per night plus 100 MT for electricity for a campsite. Good vibes. The Wuyani Pariango Beach Motel is run by two very nice german guys, Jochen and Volker. Beach starts nearly just in front of the house. Recommended!

Tha campsite is in the sandy part of the yard of the hostel, together with a few huts, trees, bushes, grassy patches, a fire place and the owner's car. The ablutions are okay but clean and it was very quite at night. The beach is across the sandy track in front of the hostel.Very friendly owners!
Good place to stay for a few nights, 400Mets pppn.

We camped next to the reception on the sand. Nice vibe, ablutions okay, kitchen very well equipped. We paid 400M pppn.

Report Check-In

Its peak season. Paid 1000 Met pppn for a bed in a fully occupied 16 beds dorm. Kitchen is too small and too many using it. If u sleep in the dorm, you can hear ppl using the kitchen during busy times as its located just next to the dorm (which I didnt find practical). Lack of chairs and tables to eat yr meals after cooking. The lobby is always full of ppl. Its too noisy & packed here. Perhaps if u come during low season its another story. The owner, the German guy is friendly btw.

Very simple camping spot behind reception, decent sand and flat, good WiFi, decent price (400 pppn). Very nice owners and staff. Strongly recommend Peri Peri Divers for any ocean safaris, really well done and good discount if you tell them your at Pariango.

Report Check-In

Close at the beach and very central located in Tofo. Camping is not nice. Uneven ground between an old unused car and a concrete wall. They have now one hot shower. The community kitchen wasn’t clean. Everything is run down. So we only stayed for one night and went to Turtle Cove which is a little bit outside town but much nicer!

This place has great location (just opposite the beach) and really good prices (1500 mt for double chalet). Friendly and helpful owners, little bar/restaurant at the veranda but not very reliable (sometimes open for couple of hours, sometimes closed all day). Breakfast pretty big and good (price ok, around 150-200) but the guy who prepared the meal was overbearing. Kitchen very well equipped but often overtaken buy the staff who prepares meals here. Common area with WiFi and the reception ok, but not very welcoming. Cold showers. Chalets ok but small and when it’s raining you can feel drops and wind on your face. Laundry for big basket 500mt. This is the cheapest option in Tofo but a little bit run down. Surf shack just next door.

Small camp ground with only a few flat spots. I am not sure they allow ground tents, only roof top tents, but they have dorms. Location is right infront of the beach however you definitely need 4x4 to get there as the road it is on is deep sand. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use for free and clean bathrooms. The cost is 400 met per person.

Report Check-In

Prices as erster before. Camping is not the priority but possible. Even a 7,5 ton truck fits in the small place. Directly in the gate you have an direct view on the beach. This is at Fatimas place not possible which is a bid away. Internet is quite good. In a kitchen you can use the equipment. The two owner are Germans and can provide many information. Lively place since there are plenty backpackers.

Report Check-In

Great location in Tofo only a few steps from the beach. All clubs and Bars and dive schools in walking distance. Great value!

Report Check-In

Cheapest place for camping in Tofo that we could find. 400 metrical pppn but we stayed 4 nights and then we got to pay 350 metrical pppn. Very nice owner who is always around and if you stay at Pariango you get a 20% off on Liquid Diving. Camping spot is like mentioned in the other checkin just a parking lot but we put our rooftop tent close to the wall so we could see the ocean when we woke up. Nice personal and nice backpackers!

Report Check-In

Camping possible at this hostel, but it's nothing more than a sandy parking lot on uneven ground with dead Palm tree leaves on the ground. Didn't really look very inviting to us, so we stayed at Fatima's. You're right at the beach though and they charge 400 Mtc pp.
