Beautiful and quiet place. Great view. We paid 100.000 COP for a double room. Breakfast included. There’s also a restaurant. People are very nice. Secure parking.

Report Check-InWe were originally going to camp on the street in town across from Hostal Casa Madrigal, but we decided against it. Drove the beautiful stretch to Alto Bonito to see if they’d let us park and camp in our vehicle. Didn’t seem like they’d done it before, but eventually they said yes. Our spot had an incredible view. We had access to a bathroom close by, and the warm shower within one of the hotel rooms. Big covered seating area. The WiFi didn’t really work when we were there. They wanted 60,000, but we settled on 50,000 COP. We didn’t look at all they had, but I believe there’s a restaurant and store at the entrance. Definitely recommend—hopefully they’ll be open to more overlanders in the future.
