We've renovated our parking area and the guesthouse nearby. The entrance is now smaller than before and only fits campervans up to 5m long. if you have a longer vehicle please try at another place. thanks for the understanding.

Hi there, Finca Check-in.
Thank you for your reviews. We usually adjust prices for the running year at the end of the high season around the 31th of march. The old prices untill end of highseason 22/23 were made before inflation, as all the hotels in the Colombian territory we adjust prices as the COP lost almost 30% within the last months what you surely noticed. The actual price in Low season is COP 60'000 for motorhome up to 2 PAX, so it's COP 30'000 per person. We consider this as a very low pricing if you see what service we offer. If you don't need our high quality service you can always choose another place around Minca.
Our osmosis water filter system is a new feature for our guests at our boutique guesthouse casa maracuyá, of course it is also available to our motorhome guests. if you don't like our new service, you can always buy your water in town.
Unfortunately we had a few bad experiences with disrespectful motorhome guests in the last week's , not respecting our hostel policy, our installations and our staff. We will consider to shut down our motorhome parking if this keeps on happening.

Pretty nice place to stay, although it turns into a mudpool when it rains. I think the price is too steep in my opinion after the price went up. The difference in price between a shared bunk room and the camper price is just too small. (Around 10.000 pesos)

Drinking water is available down stairs, so you need to carry jugs up and down if you want to fill up your tank. Also electricity, fully stocked kitchen and warm showers are available and nice. If you do not need all the fancy stuff the parking lot at the Minca express is a cheap and decent alternative.

the drinkable water is faaar away.
the only thing I would point out is that we came to this finca because it was cheaper than the place where we stayed based on the advert written on the 27.12.22 when we went there they anyway wanted to charge us the high season price, dismissing us saying that the advertise written in December 2022 wasn't valid for this year XD
only to find out that the same day they have updated the price here!!!! XD

One of the few places to stay with (up to) a medium size vehicle. Our 6m long VW Crafter could just make the turn. Send them a message if you're coming with a dog. Although iOverlander states it's not pet friendly, they make some exceptions. Can be noisy, the neighbors like to put their music on full blast. Mostly no later than 8pm. Very friendly people, not much else to add to previous comments. Oh, the main road is now almost completely paved with concrete. So you can do without a 4*4 past Minca, it's just really steep.

We spent 3 nights here. It took some maneuvering to get in with our Jeep, but not too bad. There is one spot for overlanders, so reserve in advance using the phone number provided in the other reviews. Very clean kitchen, bathroom, and shower. Electrical outlets and water spigot directly behind parking. We were told the water is not potable, but I washed our produce in it (risk taker) and it was fine. Long staircase down to river, where you can soak. The current is too strong for swimming. There is also a firepit with a view of the river. Easy walk to town. We recommend The Lazy Cat for food and Waira for coffee.

As described. All facilities very clean, short walk to Minca. There is room for one smaller camper (van-size) and one bigger vehicle, we fitted with our 6m truck-camper. The entrydoor has a hightrestriction at approx. 3.2 m. It is advisable to check in advance the availability of the spots. Daniel, the swiss owner is very helpful and nice.

Hi there, FINCA HOSTAL BOLIVAR checkin in.
We would like to inform all Motorhome travelers that WE ARE OPEN AGAIN! Since we had to rebuild our entrance due to the construction of the new road, our entrance does not fit Big Rigs or high camper cars anymore.
The height of the entrance is 3.30m in the center and 2.70m on the edges and its 3.40m wide.
No problems to get in with small buses or 4wheel drives with rooftop tent.

we recommend you to go to "El Mirador" they have a nice parking lot and great views to Santa Marta.
If you are traveling without motorhome, our Guestshouse is still open and we are pleased to welcome you if you are in Minca.

Lovely place to stay. We payed 45k per night (2 adults + van). Bathroom, kitchen and the whole area is very clean and well maintained. Don’t miss to go to the viewpoint at sunset and to the river for a refreshing bath.

Fits 3 vehicles in the lot, well equipped kitchen, hot water shower. 110V. Right on the road to pozo azul, but quiet at night. Simon was reactive and of good advise on the surrounding visits to make.
WiFi connexion quite erratic.
45K per night per vehicle. Same price for all vehicles, regardless of size or number of passengers.
Private access down to the river.
Also has dorm rooms with another house further down. We planned 2 nights and extended 1. There is a lot to do around.

Very nice small camping and Hostal. Parking for 3. Equipped kitchen, hot and cold water shower, toilet and common area. The whole thing is cleaned daily. Private access to the river. Simon, the owner is very available and advises you on places to visit. The laundry cleaning service is the best ever met! Finally clean laundry! Don't forget to see the sunset from the mirador at Simon's house! Price 40,000 for our family.

Petit parking pour 3 très bien aménagé. Cuisine équipée, douche eau chaude et froide, toilette et espace commun. Le tout est nettoyé quotidiennement. Accès privé à la rivière. Simon le propriétaire est très disponible et vous conseille sur les endroits à visiter. Le service de nettoyage de linge est le meilleur rencontré depuis longtemps! Enfin du linge propre ! Simon, the Swiss owner takes every step to make your visit as memorable as he can.
There is space for 3 midsize vehicles with access to a very clean and hot shower/toilet, kitchen and relaxing area. The private access to the Minca River is perfect to get rid of the steaming temperatures of the afternoon. Plus you‘ll have a fireplace with wood if you fancy BBQing your own goodies.
All in all a nice place to relax.

Very good facilities with a kitchen that is well equipped! Hot shower!
Nice hang out area with hammock and access to the river (really nice to cool down), and there is a nice sunset spot if you go up the hill behind the reception (have to ask Simon beforehand). Camping area is quite small (probably max 3 rigs will fit) and you will be standing close to your neighbors...
Simon will give you a great introduction what to do in Minca! There is a 8 hours hiking trail to waterfalls... We really enjoyed the restaurants and cafes in Minca (quite European and the best bread at a French bakery!)

D'après vos commentaires précédents sur d'autres endroits, je suppose que vous voyagez avec un budget plutôt bas et que la négociation est un de vos passe-temps.

Votre argument de négociation, selon lequel vous n'avez pas besoin de toutes nos installations (et comment devrions-nous même contrôler cela?) était un peu étrange. Il y a plusieurs autres endroits à Minca avec moins de caractéristiques pour les voyageurs à bas prix.

Nous pensons qu'il est juste que tout le monde paie le même prix. Nous offrons des réductions pour personnes qui restent au moins sept jours chez nous.

Nous offrons Wi-Fi, accès direct à la rivière, point de vue privé, douches chaudes et toilettes qui sont nettoyées quotidiennement et nous sommes à seulement 5 minutes de Minca.

Vous n'avez même pas mis un pied dans notre terrain de camping, donc c'est plutôt étrange de commenter notre site.
Nous sommes très amicaux, calmes, extravertis et patients et à aucun moment je n'ai été hostile envers vous.
Je pense que la plupart des commentaires précédents sur notre site le prouvent et réfutent votre commentaire.

Nous espérons que vous apprécierez le reste de votre voyage à travers la Colombie dans des endroits moins chers et plus simples avec moins d'installations.

Fuyez, à 45000 la nuit c'est du vol pour ce que c'est. nous sommes arrivés à 2 véhicules pour plusieurs jours, pas de négociation possible. En plus en bord de route et tout enclavé.

regardez un peu plus haut, il y a un super spot mieux et moins cher, et ça passe très bien en big rig et motor home.

Really great place for car camping in Minca. Very nice setting with mango trees, small chill area with table and hammock, and private access to river - really nice for a dip. The kitchen and bathrooms are super clean and the shower is hot, best we’ve had for a while. Our dog was allowed too. Simon is very friendly and gave us lots of tips for Minca. Highly recommend. 45,000 for two of us in a roof tent.

Finca Hostal Bolivar is a swiss-owned Campground / Hostel. We were planning to stay one night and stayed 5 in the end. That says everything.

It is well organised; kitchen, bathroom, and shared areas within the hostel, are cleaned daily.

Best spot to be in Minca, that’s for sure.

Careful:
- the price is now 20‘000 COP/ person.
- laundry service 8‘000 COP/ kg.

Definitely a must.

One of the best overlanding spots! Kitchen and bathroom are now ready, super clean and very equipped. The access to the river and the fire place are definitely a plus. You can also walk up to the main house and see the sunset over Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada valley. The owner is really helpful, gives you all the tips. There is also a loundry service for 6000 cop/kg.

The perfect campsite about 300 m outside of Minca. Brand new kitchen, shower (hot water) and toilet facilities. Minca has good restaurants, french bakery, small supermarket. Owner Dani is very friendly and helpful. Good starting point for short and long hikes.

Perfect place to stay in Minca! The place is new and the toilet and shower are super clean. Fast WiFi. Nice area to sit outside with a fridge. The kitchen will be finished soon. This is a really nice place 5 min outside of Minca. Very friendly hosts Daniel und Simon, they speak English, German, French and they can give you lots of information on the area. Toilets and showers are very clean. There is a cosy place with a table and chairs and a fridge for visitors(they will soon build a kitchen as well). There is also a roofed lovely fireplace and wood. Private access to the small clean river. There is space for 3 max. 4 campervans in the shady patio. There are also rooms for rent. The entrance gate is about 3 meters high. We paid 20'000 COP for 2 persons and the van.

Newly build Parking with everything you need: Toilet, shower, water, electricity, quite fast Internet and hammocks with nice views. the property ist very clean and well maintained, only the kitchen was not finished bitte i guess it will be done soon. The best thing is you have a private access to the river and the owners have a beautyful lookout in their Finca from where you can see St. Marta and the sea. great for Sunset! its only 5min. walking distance to the town which is great to get some Food. Reasonable priced. Very nice place to stay in Minca!

The Finca Hostel Bolivar offers new also camping facilities for camping cars. Nice and clean shower, bath rooms, kitchen etc. Electric hook up. A good place to spend a few nights before jumping again in to the Kolumbien traffic.
The hosts are ever so nice and helpful. It is only a short walk into Minca. And taxies drive you for little money into Santa Marta and back, if you need to fill up your stock on pasta, meet, beer etc. This place is highly recommended!
