Description
Good little place away from the noise and chaos of the two main drags in Tunduma. Clean double room with a pretty good bed, hot shower and African toilet for 20k, and there were rooms for 15k too. A simple breakfast is included. Nice and quiet at night although it can get a bit noisy from 6.30am onwards as the staff start moving about.
There is a (I think affiliated) restaurant and bar across the street for decent food and cold beers.

I just hopped in for a lunch in the mentioned opposite restaurant while driving the side road as alternative to the highly frequented main road. I got a very tasty fish soup (mshemsho), freshly prepared according to my wishes. Would come again!
Report Check-InGreat place! Very friendly staff and local neighborhood. Bar and restaurant opposite serving cold beers, delicious food and shows the football. We really enjoyed our stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the big town. Recommended.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night before crossing to Zambia. Quiet location bit outside of busy town. Bit of noise from the staff didn't bother us as we left early for the border. Price for the room with squad toilet very ok. We tried the Restaurant opposite, which offered good food.
The best thing was that the manager arranged for us to change Tsh to ZA Kwacha. He has a friend in town who changed for us at the best rate (1:1 according google daily exchange rate). So no need to exchange at the border at low rates and have Kwacha ready when you cross border.
