Small valley just off the road towards the border. Well-hidden from passing traffic (although the road is very quiet at night). Moderate wind protection when we were there but may not be suitable on high wind days. Excellent views of the mountains and very peaceful. We were there in Summer and saw some stagnant pools in the bottom of the valley, maybe running water available in Winter or Spring (?). Tents only!

Nice flat spot hidden from the road. We arrived late in the pitch dark but were able to find the spot ok and pitch up. The wind had died down so it was fine during the night. We had rain and freezing temperatures but the morning views were nice. No water access while we were there.
Report Check-Insurprisingly nice spot. I camped on the valley floor where there is thick soft grass. valley would be a wind tunnel if a northerly wind. wind fairly calm today and all good. lots of horseflies. Worth the 2km detour from Ruta 40, I'd say, even if not coming this way, as there aren't many nice options around....
