Good stop after/before the border crossing from or to Tanzania. Parked in back entrance to the lodge next to the ablutions which is perfect. Supper in the restaurant. Bream snd chicken on the menu. Staff very friendly. Excellent overnighter after long day on the road.

We were looking for a safe place to spend the night ´ for our big truck (too big for the campsite in mbala). They allowed us to sleep here in the lodge parking for 100 kwachas (150 asked before négociation) or for free if we eat at the restaurant (100 kwcha /p)
The also gave us access to toilets and shower (hot if you wait a lot of time)

Camping in the parking area is no longer for free. We paid 300Kw for two people (too much for camping in the parking lot) . You get use of the facility's public ablutions. Clean. Only cold water. They said they would bring hot water to wash, but never did. Everything else pleasant.

Very nice place inside the city before the border with Tanzania. Quiet with security gard. We stay for free on the parking for one night. No noise anywhere.

They are a restaurant. We have half chicken and fries for 90 Kwacha each. Very kind and helpful staff.
