This spot and a track ( Maps.me has it) leading to it was visible from the cliff. It's an unused water reservoir about 7,5 km from the main road, the last 1.4 km with lots of smaller stones. Not difficult at all but slow, slow going. After doing my research I think it's the closest one can get to the bottom of the cliff. I camped on a cleared spot about 100 m before the reservoir. The escarpment view is amazing despite trees around.
