Guatemala
We camped in the parking lot of this basic hostel. It’s very quiet and on the edge of the village. WiFi is good at reception and okay in the parking lot. Host Salvatore is a sweet guy and was surprised that we wanted to camp. He offered us the use of extra wool blankets, the bathrooms, and hot showers. Our 3 meter tall VW Westfalia hightop fit in just fine. However, the roads to get here are narrow, steep with very tight turns, so bigger rigs might not make it. We think the price is reasonable.
