Hands down the most beautiful campsite, the sunrise is magnificent, none other. The highest point of the tugen hills it’s likely to be cold. We were given firewood and water and we were well taken care of. The forest is beautiful. Experience is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a lovely site with an interesting story behind the name of the site. We were met by Ben and Joseph, who gave us such a warm welcome. Sylvester made sure we had a fabulous fire through the evening. It is the views that make this site so special - looking into the Rift towards Lake Baringo is incredible, as you are so high at an altitude of 2400m. We highly recommend this site. Luka makes sure your welcome is ready - he came to see us in the morning, checking we had seen sunrise.

Warm welcome by Ben and Joseph, usually there is no one there, give them a call. No running water but they offered to bring some, plenty of fire wood. Amazing view! Feels like camping in solitude, they left us the key for the gate. Highly recommended.

Probably the most beautiful campsite at the ridge on the eastern rift valley. We used this spot to split up the stages of the Transkenyabikepacking route.
Stock up on food and water in the village before climbing up (ca. 1.5 km) - the campsite has no running water or electricity (clean pit toilet available).
You camp in a conservancy, surrounded by ancient trees, Baboons, birds. Prices are fixed (1000 p. P).
The people who take care of it are lovely and provided us with a campfire and water. We were left alone for the night.
