Description
This place is just fantastic. The local surfers built this camp in 2022 with help from some NGOs. They have 4 open bungalows for tents or hamocks, space for 2 or 3 campers right next to the beach. The facilities are European standard (for us, probably the best since Europe). A nice bar/restaurant with cold drinks and food are also on the site. Electricity 24/7 from solar panels. All the guys are very nice.

Report Check-InUpdate: The access road in April '24 is crap. Everyone knows the capability of their own vehicles, trust your own instincts, don't listen to these people saying it will be fine. Driving down the hill isn't the problem, it's leaving, the track is uneven, steep and soft mud. It took us an hour to get out as we got stuck on the track multiple times. There are a lot of locals hanging around here, they should get a few shovels and level out the track, maybe even throw down some gravel if they want to make this place accessible.
There are a few flat spots to park adjacent to the beach, lovely blue sea. A great location, the scenery is wonderful and the water is good for swimming, there were some other travelers staying. When we arrived I asked the price per night and he said 10 dollar per person, it's too much, we negotiated 5 per person if we used our own toilet. $7 Dinner was fish & rice, and for vegetarians, just rice. We cooked ourselves.
The few times I went over to the bar/reception all the staff were sitting watching the TV with the sound on maximum and have little interest in serving me, it is a hostile environment so I didn't bother buying anything from them. There is very limited food for sale in Robertsport town, mostly packaged long life items, so it's best to stock up with supplies elsewhere. There is no bank here & we had basic internet signal with Lonestar.
We had a bad experience with one guy. He said he works there and came to our van to sell things under the motivation that he was raising money for the surf club, I felt pressured into buying a t-shirt but when he said the expensive price I was not interested anymore. He couldn't take no for an answer and wouldn't leave us alone, repeatedly coming to our van to try different tactics of forcing me to buy it. In the end he said he needs to sell it to buy food for dinner, at this point I shut myself away for the evening. The reason I pay money to stay at places like this instead of wild camping is to avoid these kind of uncomfortable interactions. It wasn't even a nice t-shirt.
Report Check-Invery friendly guys. got a big truck down the track. camped on the beach. paid $10pp even though it was advertised at $5. but given Liberian rates still not bad value. good beach to swim at. walked 1.25hrs, 3.5km to see shipwreck. fresh caught fish available.

Amazing place on the beach, clean, good also for big cars and truck. Restaurant. 5 usd p/person p/night sleeping in your car.

With a smaller 4x4 like Land Rover or Land Cruiser you can camp at the beach.
Some party on weekends and public holiday. When the sun goes down it will be quiet even on weekends.

Not suitable for cars, only motorcycles or bicycles. Very professional people running the place, excellent bathrooms. Poor internet in town. Anything you need to arrange online, do that before coming to paradise :-)
Paid 5usd to pitch my tent on the beach, they have some tents use hire if needed. Beautiful spot. Entrance is a little steep so maybe walk it first to get the lay of the land. Food,beers and water available from the bar. Flush toilets and real (cold) showers. Very nice place.
Report Check-Init's a good place to stay at the beach. but remember that this is a public beach: on this monday morning at 6am there came a few people and made sports at the beach loudly nearby our car.

Report Check-InSuper rad spot to camp, right in front of fisherman’s surf break. Short walk to cottons and shipwreck (if you’re looking for surf.) Aside from the amazing surf this place has 4 covered pavillons set up that each have solar panels on the roofs and battery banks to charge from. Clean bathrooms (with toilet paper) 2 showers. Restaurant on site if you want food and they serve beer👌🏽

Also you’re money is supporting the surf club, which does a lot of good for the people and kids in the community. Highly recommend staying here

The place it’s nice and beautiful.
Fantastic friendly welcome at this lovely spot. Two camping spots available right on the beach $5 a night. You can walk for miles on clean sandy beaches. Bar and restaurant on site along with surf school.bDinners $7 each. Active on the weekend nights with music and locals, lots of fun.
