We slept one night in the camping area ($5 pppn). Well equipped kitchen and hot shower. There is an area with tables and chairs in the garden to eat and relax protected from the sun or rain.

We camped here for a couple of days. It’s a great place to relax. There is a complete kitchen, clean toilet and shower with warm water. We saw a lot of different kind of birds.
We had to leave our motorbikes at the house of the owners and walk about 450 meters to the campground. You can walk to the nearby village for groceries or go to a restaurant. It’s really recommended.

Super camping with fully equiped kitchen in a natural environment with hot showers and firepit. It's runned by a lovely couple who takes care about the reserve by maintaining the trails you can hike and offers different types of accommodations that you can check in the website rumiwilco.com.
We spent several days at camping and enjoyed it a lot!

Great spot! Only the road to get there is a little bit tricky (especially when it rains...). Had some problems getting up and down the hill (we have a rwd). And we asked, if we could park in front of the rooms on the platform, because the parkingarea isn‘t very big or flat..

We couldn’t get our Land Rover in. There is a 2 meter height restriction. There is a small driveway at the top but no one to ask if there was a possibility to camp there. Went to Casita del Agua instead.

Fantastic spot in Vilcabamba. We slept in our car but you could carry your camping gear about 400m and have a private, safe, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. All trails were included and a great way to spend 3 hours. 5$ pp for camping or car camping. Thank you Alicia!

Very lovely place. We tented for $5 pppn. We planned to stay 2 nights but ended up 4 nights. We hiked around in the surrounding mountains and visited the little town. We liked the kitchen, hammocks and river swimming.

Best place we have stayed at on this 9 months trip so far. We booked it on Booking.com and was supposed to stay 2 nights. We rented the pole house by the river. Place for 4 people with kitchen, bathroom and hot lovely shower. Ended up staying 10 days and what a treat it was loved everything about it, the town is 5-10 minutes walk with shops and everything you need. A perfect place to rest for a while. We parked our bikes underneath the pole house. Safe relaxing place.

It is an ecological reserve that has lodging and camping, very nice place with trails to go. The camping costs $ 5 per peesona, do not charge the camper, there is not much space for vans because the terrain is uneven but one is accommodated. the rooms cost $ 10. there is a bathroom with hot shower, kitchen and WiFi.

Fantastic place in nature. Warm shower and Wi-Fi plus kitchen and slightly old fridge! $5 per person to camp. It's quite a walk from where you can park so you need to lug your stuff. The eco trails are amazing and well signed with heaps of info, the two owners speak excellent English and were nature guides on the Galapagos for years. You can even buy their own organic coffee and homemade jam 😃 a 15 min walk to town which is quite pricy/expat-y. It's a slightly rough track to get here - not suitable for big rigs but rufty bikers are fine!

We camped in that quiet place for 5$ pp. They also have cabañas (?$) and rooms (10$ pp) for rent. Fully equiped kitchen, nice hot shower, fire pit and wifi in the middle of nature. No problem to reach the camping area by bike or even with not that heavy motorbikes.
To reach this place by normal 4x4 is no problem. Bigger vehicles doesn't fit.

We stayed in one of the River Cabins on the reserve. The wooden lodge was great! It constists out of a bathroom with hot shower, a fully equiped kitchen, comfortable beds, and very good wifi inside the cabin. The owners are very friendly and speak perfectly English.
We could consume the home made marmelade, coffee and granola which are all njummie!
The only disadvantage is that the cabins are about 15min walking through the jungle and so... we had to hand carriage all the luggage to and from the lodge...
