Description
Amazing experience in the Mayan community with Evarista and Silvanus.
In nature, in the beautiful land filled with the flowers of Evarista, surrounded by fruit trees and beautiful palapa built in the tradition by Silvanus and members of the community.
We were invited here by Raphael, a passionate ranger we met at the Blue Hole National Park.
We are learning so much about the very alive Mayan community, their traditions and the positives and negatives of modernism.
The family gave us the most incredible experience we had in Belize. Eva cooked typical Mayan food for us while Nus took us on an adventurous hike through the jungle to farm on the steep mountainside and down by the creek under the dense canopy he cut through with his machete.

Super spot pour rester. Nous avons passé une semaine chez eux. Rafael, le fils d’Evarista nous a emmené dans la jungle, dans la ferme de Sylvanus, fait visiter des ruines Maya, les villages alentours … famille très accueillante
Report Check-InIt's our second time here, 6 months after our first visit. We really back to Belize to stay at Nus and Eva again and immerse in the Mayan community of Belize.
We hiked in the jungle with Nus where we collected peppers on his land in the jungle. Eva cooked amazing chicken dish and kassava cake for us. And also took us to her older sister for cacao grinding, watching it turn into chocolate!! We then drank the delicious hot chocolate she made from it!
The land is vast, peaceful and gorgeous with all sorts of fruits and flower trees.
Staying with Eva and Nus is not simply a big highlights but the main reason we returned to Belize. We've been able to experience both the Mayan life and the jungle life in a safe way, learning so much along...

We were given a comfortable bedroom with a curtain door and with a double bed to sleep in.
The pit bathroom is outside in a little shack on the green land.
The shower is outdoor and in the middle of nature, an unforgettable experience in the middle of the birds and Eva's flowers.
The land and house are spotless...!!
