We met Gaskin on the beach while wild camping and he asked to add his contacts and what he is offering to this group, it may be useful for some travellers that are looking for a traditional and cultural experience in Togo. Gaskin is offering a room at his house to stay, plus a breakfast, lunch and dinner, with some sightseeing of the city and its attractions (as he is a professional guide and works at Slave House and a president of Global Culturama Association for tourism in Togo).
At his house he has a parking for a motorbike/bicycle but for bigger rigs he is offering a safe parking at a Slave House Museum. All this for the price of 20,000+ Cefa, to be negotiated and arranged the details with him.
Again: we didn't try his services but it may help someone else, as the his price is quite competitive taking in consideration that the hotels and restaurants are expensive in here. Give him a call and decide for yourself.

Because of the low hanging branches, this place is not recommended for bigger rigs. We were allowed to park for the night in front of the Cite Lacustre (the place bevor the camps du Lac). They offers some food and cold drinks in lovely huts build on the water.

Really nice and beautiful place. Relax, friendly, fresh air, quiet at night. You can enjoy the place during the day: if you want to picnic you just have to pay 1000fcfa per personn and you can stay here, use the tables etc... also they have a restaurant if you prefer. The price is always the same to sleep : 2000 fcfa per person. We really enjoyed to stay here !

Very quite place, on the shore of the lake. Big wild parc surrounded by trees.. There is a bar and restaurant. There are rooms at Fca 10.000, but with our tent we spent fca 2000 per person. The shower is outdoor,
no privacy, and there is toilet with running water. The owner is a nice man english speaking, very friendly and easy going. Very reccomended expecially before the sunset.

Very nice inn on the shores of Lake Togo. Very good restaurant and very affordable prices. We spent the day here and ate lunch, we asked to sleep at night in the parking lot. For long vehicles provide wedges.

Très jolie auberge au bord du lac Togo. Restaurant très bon et prix très abordables. Nous avons passé la journée ici et avons mangé le midi, nous avons demandé pour dormir le soir sur le parking. Pour les longs véhicules prévoir des cales.
