Togo
Easy border, friendly staff on both side. No money asked. Togo side is quite slow. We did the eVisa for Benin and we printed it to show them. All done in one hour.

Easy, hassle-free border crossing. I arrived with two copies of my e-visa printed out, but they just took a pic and sent me on my way. Warning to those arriving without their own transport: hard to catch a lift from here as crossing is very quiet and Benin technically requires all passengers on motos to be wearing a helmet too and few people are carrying spares. I didn't see it fully enforced, but when someone finally picked me up who didn't care, the gendarmerie shouted at us as we drove past. Not an ideal crossing for those without their own wheels.
Report Check-InUk passport, motorbike with CDP.
Leaving Togo, very quick and easy, maybe 15 minutes. CDP first then across to the police for a an exit stamp.
Enter Benin, passport stamped first no issues, then next building for customs. Very slow and the guy didn’t really know about CDP. Was 7000 for the passavant even with a CDP.
My very bad French probably didn’t help.
Roads from Kpalime as below, the first half was gravel and very beautiful through the villages. Easy for any transport. Few patches with gravel but nothing crazy and a bit bumpy here and there but well worth it. 2nd half was great asphalt right to the border.

The road to the border from Notsé is all paved. Kpalimé to Notsé is piste but in good condition. No problem.
