We were here on a Saturday, mounds of tourists in the marked area with the turtles. It was not at all about „don’t touch the turtles“, but some men helped the timid ones to get in touch with the animals. All in all it looks like “feeding of the predators” which ate the fish pieces ravenously. It’s a highly touristic attraction and has nothing to do with nature conservation!

We didn’t liked this place, the general situation and the turtles condition. We entered without paying to go to the toilet and we saw a really sad scene. This is not cool and you can see turtles in a more responsible and natural atmosphere without paying.

No. Nope. We were surrounded by three kids when we parked asking for money and one guy selling plastic souvenirs, before we even left our car. There are three big tourist buses and a gauntlet of venders treating you like ATM Gringo before you can reach the beach, everyone yelling and whistling at you. The turtle stop north of here is much more peaceful.

Seriously we hated this place. We though it was really bad for the turtles. Everyone is touching them. You can swim with the turtles in a really small place full of people. When we arrived and have seen that we didn’t go m, it was to much for us. We don’t think this is good for the turtles and we maybe don’t like the same type of tourism than people here.

Very cool. They have a small area where they feed the turtles where you can swim (no nets, the turtles come and go freely). We had about 8 giant turtles swimming around us. They just come bumping into you. The water was not super clear so goggles didn't help much.
The little beach is quite nice too and you can see turtle heads pop up along the shore.
