Large parking area managed by St. John's river water management. Signs are now posted prohibiting camping. It is still a good place to pause for a good walk, enjoy a lunch, or check your rig.

We stayed here a Tuesday night. Woke at 3 am to a weird smoke smell. We didn’t see anything but then big bulldozers from the forest service pulled in at 5 o’clock. By 9 o’clock it was hazy, smoke everywhere, and there was a big bulldozer being unloaded. Didn’t get kicked it’s but we left ASAP 😂 other than the terror and mild sinus congestion from the air it was a nice place to stay! Thankful for it because the Walmart was a definite no.
