Something not right?

Description

A nice camp directly on the Zambesi Riverbanks. Nice and well done grassy area. There are also Restaurant and a bar with view over the Zambesi. Clean ablution and good hot showers. Also a nice Swimmingpool in the back of the bar. Not easy to find because with T4A and Google maps you end up on the wrong place (boot lunching).
Camping is $15 pppn. We can recommend this place 100% .

Latest Check-Ins

Nice views from the 2 camping spots to the river and clean, private ablutions. Good burger in the restaurant. $15/pppn (so a bit steep). But — the downsides: a young bull elephant around that they call ”cheeky” and tell you that you should get into your car (!) while he is around, but he is already more than ”cheeky” and must be really watched out: he mock charged us once in the evening and was really unpredictable! (The other, bigger bull was nice and calm.) But you’re basically trapped in your car while the young bull is around, and he even chased one other guest in the evening (!). They have a monkey problem, too. Few aggressive vervets that may try to attack you while trying to steal your food. So be careful and do not leave anything outside: no food, no camping stuff, as they might be destroyed.
So no relaxed stay here. You have to continuosly watch out for the misbehaving, young bull elephant and the stealing vervets. Couldn’t cook here at all, even having a breakfast was a show because of the monkeys. Owners seem not to take these problems very seriously. But it is a disaster brewing if not somehow addressed.

You can see elephants and hippos roaming around the camp. Lovely views over the river. Well maintained with swimming pool!
