Don't stay here. I'm not sure when that renovation was completed, but the "new" rooms are already in bad shape. No mosquito net. Aircon only worked in one of the 3 available. One TV station. Broken tables, doors broken or missing. The front door doesn't close properly. leeky bathroom sink. Moldy tiles in shower. Also, the new rooms are next to a very loud bar. The people are nice, the sheets we clean and so were the towels.

Affordable and nice lodge, no camping. They have a bar/ pool/ restaurant area which is frequented by locals, good food, if nothing special. They are expanding the site and have a new block with 3 floors which is already opened by 2/3. Rooms there are modernish with fancy tiles, tv, ac and bathrooms, even a tub (but that was not working). Older rooms are without ac, but still have fridge and warm water. Old rooms are 300, new ones 400. They have breakfast, old rooms with continental, full english-style is 60kw. Very friendly staff, we got a free wifi router with okay network.
Recommended.

We came here after a horrible experience at Alitasha Lodge and it was a great decision. 400 kwacha for a large room with two double beds and a mini fridge. There was hot water, a restaurant with decent food, and secure parking. The staff were incredibly helpful going out of their way to help us with internet as we didn't have a SIM yet. Even though they didn't have wifi at that point, the lady at the desk bought a data package and loaded it on the office phone and let us hotspot. Overall, a great experience and well worth the money.
