nice park as stated previously. Money wanted now, i think. see sign in photos. There are mapped out campsites on the grass. I am sure you could pitch a tent. I had a van. a very quiet night and morning.

Gorgeous early morning kayak spot on the Colorado River after relatively quiet night with only a couple fishermen in the morn. (boat launch quite steep...and slimy...wear grippy kayak shoes or fall on your backside a couple of times as I did getting out). Lots of fish, egrets, herons and other birds. Did not use the porta potties or tables or grills but all looked in good repair. Would have been a good place to stay a bit longer.

Large parking area, nice river with picnic tables. Traffic noise dies down at night. A few fishermen during the day but very quiet otherwise. Easy access & good spot for any vehicle. Might be a popular hang out for locals as several vehicles arrived around 2am, hanging out in the parking lot, then they all cleared out about an hour later. Same thing happened the night prior at the beach down the street. Good TMobile.

one of many Texas boat ramps and parks that allow overnight parking or camping. large level paved parking area many picnic tables and covered picnic area and grills. docks for fishing with valid Texas fishing license.
The State of Texas has no rules prohibiting overnight parking at its rest areas. The same is true with picnic areas, and travel information centers. These facilities are open 24 hours a day. This mean you are allowed to arrive at night. Because Texas allows you to stay up to 24 hours at a time, overnight parking is allowed.You can stay at a rest area, picnic area, or travel information center for no more than 24 hours.
