Convenient gravel parking lot to stay in Red Bay next to the Visitors Interpretation Centre . There's also a restaurant & craft/gift shop - restaurant was busy the night we were there, and food was good. Two other RV's stayed when we were there - the lot will hold 5 or 6.. The Interpretation Centre and visit to Saddle Island (be sure to opt for the included guided tour on Saddle Island ) are well worth the cost of admission (if you have an annual Parks Canada Discovery pass, then no charge for admission here.)
Report Check-InI'm currently at the hilltop visitors center (still undergoing renovation), others were overnight in a large gravel area across from the restaurant. According to the Rangers, everything OK, as long as you're not blocking someone's driveway.
Report Check-InParked in the museum lot, quasi level gravel ground. Nice view on the ocean, bay and Island. 9/18PM Washrooms in the center. Had dinner in the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.
Report Check-InAfter checking with visitor center, we stayed at "new" visitors center up on the hill. Good view & breezy to keep bugs away. Parks Canada staff very friendly.
