Nice campsite, super convenient, not the most glamorous one, but super handy and nice place for one night (or more.)

Shower it's good, and you also get a sink to do the dishes.

Ben, the owner, it's super friendly and helpful.

Report Check-In

As previously described. sandy campsite with shade tree, private ablutions, power & water. The corner near the water tanks is a bit whiffy but otherwise clean and well maintained. There is road noise (to be expected) but WiFi is good and restaurant serves good, hot schnitzel.
P100 pppn + 60 for a vehicle

Report Check-In

Camp was also booked when I arrived - only 3 sites.
But there is a overflow spot to camp (also with power und tap) and the option to use the shared ablutions (I assume those are from the older days)

So maybe phone in advance to avoid disappointment.

Enjoyed the birds and the trees.
Each campsite has a table bench roof structure- very convenient.

And there is a tennis court as well - bring your racquets:-)

Report Check-In

Part of a complex comprising a garage, restaurant, hotel, higher end chalets, shop and more. Modern build and well maintained. Camping is in a sterile area, private ablutions, sand ground, surrounded by a high wall or fence. Some traffic noise- secure overnight stop. Not African and zero charm. We paid 130 pppn , should have stayed at Kalahari rest- but more expensive at 170pppn but more African.

Report Check-In

Even though we arrived in low season, the entire camp was fully booked as they expected a big group to arrive. It was late and we had no opportunities but the friendly owner allowed us to stay just behind the rooms. We got access to an ablution block, powerpoint and could use the swimming pool. Very nice place and yes, the wifi is incredibly fast!

Just an update to the name. This is no longer part of Ultra Stop, it is now called Juliette's Camping. I changed the name therefore.

260P camping 2ppl. lightening fast wifi so we stayed 2 days to catch up on work. Nice private bathroom. Next door is a Botswana Tourisum office where the lady helped us book govt campspots in the Kalahari for fee.

Report Check-In

Good campsite for one overnight with private ablutions. Close to the main road.
240 p. for 2 people

Report Check-In

Just off the A2 behind the Caltex fuel station. Sites are close to the road and one another as well as the “motel”. Camel thorn trees provide good shade, small shower and toilet for each site and free WiFi too.
Great stop to break a journey.

We had a surprisingly nice and peaceful stay here! Welcoming staff was very great. Campsites are still on sandy grounds, every stand has its own ablutions, looks like they are newly built or renovated! We were the only camping guests and rest of the hotel was very quiet/empty. Large and clean pool, all in all the accomodation area is in a very good conditon. Wifi was incredibly fast compared to other accomodations. Its for free and available by the conference room.
Great stay.

This campsite was a nice place for our stopover along the way. They have three sandy campsites with private ablutions. There is electricity, but no WiFi. It is quite peaceful apart from the occational truck passing as it is close to the highway. The price is 100 Pula per person and 60 Pula for the vehicle.

Report Check-In

same as described, Wi-Fi quality very low

Report Check-In

Off a surprisingly noisy road and village. We didn't sleep a wink due to a party going on close by. Campground very basic and the toilet was leaking all over the grass. We wouldn't recommend unless you're very tired from a long journey and can't go on any further.

Report Check-In

still BWP 260 p2P (100 pP + 60 for the vehicle). WiFi worked the whole day also in the campsite.

Report Check-In

Still same as before, nothing new to report

Report Check-In

Good place to stay. You have your own abulution block with shower and toilet. ( hotwater and clean!) the place is on sand, braaifacilities and it is a bit noicy of the road, wifi is only working in in the resaurant/bar and in the evening. In the morning it isnt work at all.

Report Check-In

Very convenient place to stop over with everything you need on site. Fuel, restaurant, shop, tourist office, camping, rooms - all take Visa credit card as payment (or pula, rand or US dollars). Bank with ATM next door and free WiFi in the bar.
Camp pitch perfectly adequate. We were quite close to our neighbours and even had to share a braai pit, but the ‘ensuite’ ablutions were good - clean and with hot water. Bit pricey at 260 pula for two people and a vehicle to camp, but might be worth it if you need the convenience for a night.

Report Check-In

Perfect place for a night. Fast free WiFi in restaurant now. Nice pool as well.

Report Check-In

This place keeps improving every year we pass thru here. Good overnight stop. Private ablution. Can get noisy from the road. Only a few camp sites so it’s best to arrive early afternoon if you’re not into booking like we are. That is during holiday season, otherwise pretty empty. Close to small shop with rudimentary items. Ice cream essential on a sweltering hot day.

Report Check-In

Surprisingly nice Stopover at a huge fuel station and a mediocre restaurant. It is close to the road but still not very noisy. They have three Campsites each with their own ablution block. Even though it was fully booked the night we´ve been there, we still had enough privacy. We can totally recommend this place if you need a place to stay on your way to the Kgalagadi Transfrontierpark.

Report Check-In

Price is 60P ppn PLUS 100P per car.
Been alone on the camp otherwise would be a bit cramped.

Report Check-In

cost now 130 pula per person.
we stayed May 10th 2017
