Description
Savanna Camp is a private conservancy on 500 hectares, 40 minutes east of Harare. Set amongst wild spaces on the grasslands, we offer campsites under shady Msasa trees with savanna vistas, hot showers and staff to welcome you and make your stay enjoyable. Camping equipment is required.
There is also the Private Tented Bushcamp nestled under the Miombo trees in a secluded grove with essential home comforts. This can be self-catering, or breakfasts and home-cooked dinners can be ordered in advance from our in-house menu with wines to complement.
With no electricity or WIFI, you get the chance to unplug + rewind. Cellphone signal is good for all necessary comms.
Soon our unique River Camp "glamping" option will be open with stunning views of the flowing river.
Explore the park on foot, by car or cycle... total joy for children and adults alike. There is our resident giraffe "Riff Raff" plus plains game and prolific birdlife with over 170 identified species - a birdwatchers paradise.
Fish in the peaceful little river for bream, bass or barbel or canoe to the weir. Fly a kite, paint a picture, explore or just chill for the day or overnight. Day visitors and overnight campers welcome.

Report Check-InSpent 2 nights here.....very relaxing and beautiful park with zebra, tsebee, giraffe and wildebeest. Had a lovely walk around the reserve approx 2.5 hours. Very good ablutions, open air showers, spotless and always hot water. Firepit and bbq. Really enjoyed ourselves but quite pricey at 45 USD per night for 1 vehicle and 2 people plus 10 USD per bundle of campfire wood.
