Felt safe. There is a sign saying 12 hours RV parking is okay. Parking lot is pretty flat and there were about 6-8 other campers.

Good Walmart. Plenty of room to find the right spot. 12 hour limit is posted on the sign though.

Plenty of space for Rvs and vans.
Signs show we can stay for 12 hrs which is basically 1 night. Water inside walmart. Not the quietest places but that usually the case with most walmarts. Verizon signal is ok.

Update on last post: Got a tow notice from a Walmart employee saying " Wal-Mart values our community and allows travelers to park in our parking lot to rest while traveling. We do not allow vehicles to be parked on the property for purpose of sale, extended periods of time (greater than 12 hrs), frequent overnights (no more than 1 night per month) or any other reason without prior approval from store management. Also said I needed to leave by 3pm or will be towed. Added photo.

This is our second night staying here. We went to the dog park during the day and back here once it was getting dark, with no issues. We stayed just beyond the pick-up parking spaces. There was open wifi that I could use to watch YouTube on my laptop and full bars of 5G on T-mobile. There are small rocks past the parking lot that you could walk a pet (please make sure you pick it up). Would stay here again. Added photo.

We stayed here for a night by Walmart pickup door and got full wifi signal. The other transport trucks were white noise to us. Great to have the water pickup right there too.

Update: stayed here for more than a few nights since our car broke down and we were waiting on a part. They knocked on our door and politely said their parking is limited to once a month 12 hours. They were chill and said we could get preapproval by management on case by case basis otherwise.

as far as walmart’s go, this one is clean and quiet! we tried camping south of Payson during a rainstorm and ended up getting stuck in some mud. to avoid that from happening again, we camped in the walmart lot and had no issues! had an area we could walk our dog.

Signs all say 12 hour parking.

There was a line of rvs posted up on the left side of the store that never seemed to move.

Looking at the store we parked on the left way back by the grocery pick up. Would not recommend. There were delivery trucks coming and going all night, however the wifi actually reached.

There is Rumsey Park, a 4 minute drive behind wal mart to kill some time so you don’t hit your 12 hours. There’s a library with wifi too!

Definitely still open. Signs that say RV parking for up to 12 hours. Other than that, it’s your typical Walmart. Town had a lot more than I was expecting too. We were very thankful for this stop after an unexpected snow. Quite a few others here too.

This shouldn't be marked as closed. There is a sign that says 12 hour limit for RVs. Plenty of campers here. Stayed several nights with no issues.

You can still park here. However signs were added recently that say 12-hour RV parking only.

Just checked in, and I was told they will not allow overnight camping. "They're cracking down on overnight vehicles other than Walmart trucks."

Free inconvenient. We came in pulling a 30-foot travel trailer on a Tuesday late afternoon. Arrive early the level sites are in short supply parking lot is rather small and quite unlevel. No over the air TV channels available. Verizon satisfactory for streaming.

Parking lot in front of Walmart so not very scenic but for a night it was fine, several others rvs were there and we feel safe during the night, no problem expect the noise of course du to the parking lot and the highway near by.

Standard Walmart parking lot. Not very scenic, but free, and has everything you need to buy in the morning. A few other vehicles here for the night when I was here.
