Argentina
Lovely regional park west of Yala - stunning drive up a crazy switch backed road through forest and blossoms. Can camp at Laguna Rodeo or a couple of other lakes around. Free. No facilities, although it looks like they're building a visitors centre at Laguna Rodeo. We went walking up in the hills for the day - great views down the valley.

Road up here from Yala is in rough shape of once you enter the park/reserve area. Pretty narrow and tight slippery turns right now. Also was told the road down to the termales was closed because of mud slides. Smaller 4wd rigs would probably be fine, we are too big (full size truck camper).
Report Check-InArrived Sunday afternoon at 4.30. Heaving with families all around the lake. Moved on to find a quieter place.
Report Check-InLovely Spot, nice sundown and Sunset. Restaurant ist Open for Lunch.
Report Check-InVery beautiful drive from Yala to get here which can also be done by any regular car. There was a bunch of people fishing during the day. Nice frog choir during the night. Don’t expect a “just me and nature” feeling, as there are houses (or a restaurant) close to the parking spot.
Report Check-Invery nice place, no facilities but safe and quiet. lot of wood and firepits
Report Check-Inperfect camping place. just next to the laguna. A lot of animals around. there is a restaurant/hosteria at the laguna where we got hot water every day and also tap water. Laura and Cecilia were working there. they were super nice with us. You could take a shower at the river or also the last day we've paid 50p for take a shower at the hosteria cause was pretty cold. possible to make a fire too. sometimes during the day could be crowded lot of people fishing. during the night is super calm.
Report Check-InRoad from Yala OK with small car (chevrolet Joy) few streams easy to cross.
Report Check-InYala regional park free camping site. After you park your car (in front of a restaurant), follow a path by the Rodero lake towards a wonderful campsite with a space for several tents, fireplace, “tables” and a lake. Very scenic, horses are strolling around and you will get a beautiful frog concert at night.
Report Check-InThis is the busiest place we have stayed at so far....it's just a dead end road in front of someone's house 50 Mtrs from the Laguna...was expecting maybe to much after other Laguna's..
Report Check-Ingreat place, nice walks in beautiful forest. we loved it after so much time in the desert. played with frogs, observed wild horses and cows, tried fishing, picked aa bouquet, foraged yummy mushroom and wild strawberry
super quiet.
