Great spot for a night (maybe two). very quiet. Several spots to park and for the most part they are level.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I spent the night here. really great spot, would recommend. I also was woken up at 7am to the douche man honking.
Report Check-Ingoogle maps got confused while coming down the hill. the road is just past the guard shack. background hwy sound so fairly quiet until the 7AM honker drives down the hill. omg so weird but we were already having coffee.
Report Check-InThis place was great! Super quiet, not a soul passed by from 6pm to 11am the next day on a Tuesday. 4.5miles from the 5
Report Check-InThis place was great until around 7am the next morning when someone driving by decided to lay on their horn for several seconds while they passed… very rude behavior I have to assume it was someone working at the forest station since that is the only thing further up this road. Aside from that incident, it was quite peaceful with nice views and easy access from I-5.
Report Check-InI was told by a forest service employee I could not stay here, but they came back shortly after and said “one night is fine”. On the Angeles NF site there is an order that states you cannot camp for more than 3 days in a year within 300 feet of certain roads, so unless I’m missing something, 3 nights would be fine here. See link below for FS order.
