Description

Update: it seems this place is a no go, even though you'll see vans parked all the time. The police came by last night and asked everyone to move to the area by the trash container (50 yards south). They said the area is a no vehicle zone. Have this in mind when around here, perhaps drive another 1/4 mile and park by the arroyo in front of the hot springs.

About 7 palapas right on the side of the beach that are free to use. Roadside, but light traffic. Across the street there are 4 fifth wheel RVs with permanent shades that look like a rental business. There were about 5 vehicles parked here when we arrived. Felt safe overnight and one of the parked vans had gear kite outside without issues. I would still exercise normal precautions.

Walking distance to the beach with hot springs, like 400m or 1/4 mile.

There is no cell reception here. Starlink has an open view of the sky, just measured short of 200 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up and 45 ms ping.
