We stayed with Christian and Astrid for a week and felt very comfortable. The place and the pool are very nice. Christian helped us a lot with the replacement of our leaf springs. Many thanks to him and Astrid also for the delicious bread rolls.

The campground has very clean toilets and hot European standard showers. Electrically power supply according to European standards. Loving, friendly and well-behaved dogs. There is a hiking trail across its private property to the top of the mountain, with great views and beautiful sunsets.

If you have problems with your vehicle, Chris is your man. His workshop is well connected, a lot is possible. He can also import spare parts, shipping from the USA takes approximately two weeks.

what a great place! Chris and Astrid are awesome and so kind. really a lovely space to camp in on a huge property. definitely the most luxurious kitchen and bathrooms areas for guests that we have seen on the whole trip. fresh bread made every day if you want. when we arrived there isn't a sign out front to indicate this is a campground but there is a little sign that says che-roga, I will attach a picture. the gate was closed when we arrived but I messaged Chris and he immediately replied and came right down. strong wifi over the whole property. dog friendly. no size restrictions. they can do long term vehicle storage as well.

In total we spent 10 days with Christian and Astrid and had a great time!
The campsite is very nice, new and clean! We were also able to use the workshop and Christian has supported us in the search for parts and installation of the them, so we made rapid progress with our repairs.
The hosts are super helpful and just nice people! We really enjoyed cooking together in the outdoor kitchen, eating together and the community. Highly recommended!

We have spent 5 days with Christian and Astrid and it was so far the best stay at our journey. They really made us feel like home and even had some dinners with us.

There house and garden/campgrounds are just gorgeous. And we could freely use the pool and the new built outdoor kitchen and BBQ.

And the best part: Christian is a mechanic and has a whole garage with German equipment which we were allowed to use. He helped us to repair our car.

The newly built bathroom with showers is super clean and the water pressure is really good.

We paid 100.000 for 2 people and a Van per night.
tents are cheaper as far as we know.

The WiFi at the kitchen area is really good. They are going to add an additional Hotspot at the campground as well.

Chris and his family will welcome you more than well. Very nice place to sleep and have a good time. Pretty garden with pool, beautiful trees, lots of birds and hiking trail with point of view. And a bonus: Chris is a good mechanic, well equipped, he takes the time to explain you everything. He helped us so much without counting the hours! thank you so much! We will come back!

Chris and his family are building a campground. We were the first visitors! Its a beautiful place with the most friendly owners. When we were here the bathroom was not finished, but we could use the one in their house. I think the bathroom needed another week maybe. Wifi just reached the van. But they are still setting up the campsite so they need a little bit of time.

Definitely recommend this place if you want a place between ciudad and asuncion.
