At a tree, next to the lavaflow, that has wonderful forms. Hiking trail up the White Head. Many people searching for a sort of truffles around at the moment.
We could access it with our 4x4 Vario, but it was hard work the last 6km .

Thanks to the comment before we’ve also tried it with our front rear 2WD. It is tricky and you definitely need to have high ground clearance but for us the two hours offroad experience was definitely worth it! Amazing area and one of our highlights here in Saudi.
Report Check-InAmazing place! Our best finding in Saudi Arabia, I would say. Probably, also, because we arrived in March and everything is green, the White Crater is in bloom which makes it an extraodinary landscape. Based on the comments of these campspots, we almost didn't come, because it appears that it is such a difficult drive until here. I guess it depends on your car and your driving skills. We got here with a 2wd Mercedes T1 and even beyond this place, around the crater. The last 3-4 km are the hardest, but If you drive slowly and have some clearance and you can make it. For sure, it's worth it.
Report Check-InRaised vehicle only. 30 minutes to climb on foot. No problem in the area to land for the night.
