Nice spot with picnic benches, water and bathrooms. A great spot for the night, beautiful trees and a lovely short trail to check out. Wasnt too busy, max 4-5 cars in the parking lot (keep in mind this is winter). As always, be respectful!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There's now a working credit card machine to purchase passes. Also, flush toilets and sinks are open.
Report Check-InTrailhead. Quiet. NO port-a-potties!!! Good place to stop and park in the RV lot if you have your own facilities. FREE. 5$ deposit box still busted.
Seems the campsites across the road are closed & locked down for the season. Water taps drained & wired shut.
Take the trail to the left. Before crossing the bridge, look right for a beautiful waterfall & pool! 👍🏻
Nice spot. Water works. Quiet. Bear warning still posted. Porta potties still available. Some beautiful tall Douglas-fir in the parking lot. Discover Pass not valid in National Park. Tried to pay the requisite $5/day fee but the fee deposit box has been busted open.
Report Check-InAs described, very peaceful. With cell booster: 1-2 bars both Verizon and T-Mobile.
Report Check-InRequires fee or NP pass as pictured. Spotty cell service and trees block Starlink from being great. Beautiful 1-mile loop trail!
Report Check-Ingreat place to stay, pretty empty and quiet. some connection for TMobile
Report Check-InNo ATT service - nice parking lot with Porta potties (the bathrooms are closed right now) and the water spigot is still functional so we topped off water. Some truly massive trees here and beautiful rainforest. Going to shower and do laundry down the road in the morning. Great little reset spot
Report Check-Indecent sized lot, next to some lovely trails! bathrooms are closed for some reason, but porta potties available. the water spigot works. we were the only ones parked here and it was so quiet at night (wasn’t even that busy during the afternoon/evening). so close to the awesome tiny town of Quinault and surrounded by the amazing Olympic NF!
Report Check-InNice trailhead parking. One other RV when we were there. A bit of T-mobile service, which I didn't get anywhere farther down the road. Both campgrounds are still closed and I checked out other locations in the area, and this seemed like the best place
Report Check-InSmall parking area. Nine car parking spaces, Five long spaces for RVs. 35 foot max. Bathrooms are closed. Two porta potties on site. Half mile rain forest nature trail. Threaded water spigot at rest room closer to men's room side. Verizon two bars.
Report Check-InNice spot with picnic benches, water and bathrooms. A few things to note: The bathrooms were temporarily out of order when we stayed here and there is an active bear warning, so be sure to pack up properly. Otherwise great spot for the night, beautiful trees and a lovely short trail to check out. Wasnt too busy, max 4-5 cars in the parking lot (keep in mind this is winter). As always, be respectful!
