Bodega Lazo | Tourist Attraction

Not really recommended in terms of tasting wine or pisco. Place is one of the oldest around and we thought the tour would show some cool history and explain the whole process of wine and pisco making. Unfortunately, our guide only told us the name of the wine and its alcohol %, which was all written on the bottle. She didn’t explain any differences between the tastes and when we asked, she couldn’t really answer. The tour was super quick and we were tasting more than 10 different bottles - when we barely finished one sip the guide was already waiting with the other bottle, without any time to ask questions or just rest in between the tastes. Too bad, as the bedega for sure has some interesting stories and a big antique collection which was just described to us as “old stuff”. It was free, but still not really worth it. absolutely worth a visit. they have good pisco and also sell it in bigger quantities. we took the 2l canister for 45sol. the tour through the museum and drink poems she said for the degustation were fun. thanks for sharing this great bodega

Nice place to visit and learn about Pisco-production (and Wine). Tasting of Pisco and co of course not missing. Very friendly people, know even a little english.
Tip based payment. Worth a visit as its close to the PanAm.
