Very nice Campsite in the Pongola Reserve.
Trees, grean lawn, small pool.
300 Rand 2 people, no extra entrance fee at the gate.

Very Peaceful, birds chirping, Warthogs running around - lovely small pool with pool loungers. Great for a stop over between Moz & JHB. Call Lee (082) 552-2202 for bookings
Turn off slightly west of where camp is marked (inside secure reserve).

Beautiful campsite. Lot of trees, communal kitchen and fireplace, pool, lots of nature around. Office closes at 4pm, either be there before or better make your booking in advance. Otherwise they might not let you in at the park gate.
Report Check-InThis place was awesome with great hosts and would be a good spot for a long-stay (if you did not require any cell phone reception or WIFI 😊 ). We do not fish, but I can imagine that it would be a fisherman’s delight
The campsite was beautiful with plenty of green grass and great boma’s, firepits, braai stands, good kitchen facilities and a great escape from the road. I could not see any water fill-up points, but I’m sure the hosts would be willing to arrange. They supplied us with great firewood (2-wheel barrows full) and the walk to the dam had plenty of bird-life. We also spotted some hippos. Elephants are also in the area, but not guaranteed to see. Ablutions are clean, water is hot and the staff is nice. There is also swimming pool and no extra unexpected fees. Really good spot to spend a couple of nights. Also has great chalets. They could easily accommodate our big rig. Definitely recommend.
Excellent place to stay. Antelope, Warthogs, Zebra, Wildebeest all around the area. Elephant walked on the track around the lake. Good kitchen, great lawn to camp on. Definitely recommend.
