Camp spots just outside Liard River Provincial Park with fire pits. Dirt track continues along the river but there was too much water and mud when we were here. Stayed closer to the bridge where you can hear the traffic. If driving north, there is one pull off on south of river, east side, smaller spots. On the north side, larger spots

Although this is a bit noisy from the bridge traffic and a bit muddy, it is a much better place to stay than paying $25 for Liard Spring overflow camping (parking lot with lots of RVs). We found a level spot to cook dinner and spend the night and will be able to visit the springs again in the morning (way worth it).
Report Check-InWe took the trail that goes from this spot more upriver to another camping spot with a fire ring about 200 yards away. It fits a 24 ft trailer easy. Mild road noise, hardly noticed inside the trailer.
Report Check-Insome traffic noise and bad bugs but good for one night! lots of firewood.
Report Check-InSmall camping option at the Liard River Bridge close to Liard Hot Spring. Extremely muddy access after rain to a secluded campsite, 2 WD access to two level places visible from the highway. All are close to the highway and quite noisy. There is not too much traffic in the night.
Report Check-InBridge noise loud but Hot Springs overflow lot $26 was full. Nice enough place. No phone service anywhere in this area.
Report Check-InNice spot, had 2 trucks in there. Not for RV’s we had to small 4x4s which was needed to get out in the very we clay/sand. Great spot.
Report Check-Inmanaged in a 4 matic Mercedes wagon. 2 others camping along the river.
Report Check-InWe didn’t venture to the farther parking spot. The road and bridge were a bit noisy, but traffic is very sparse. Aurora borealis put on a good show. 🤗
Report Check-InGreat campspot for a night or two, if you visit the hotsprings. A lot of firewood around, and a total of four firerings, we stood at the first of them. 4x4 or rear wheel drive with offroadtires and decent ground clearance needed, we did it without any problems with our 2008 ford e250, which has fierce attitude mt tires.
Report Check-InWe also stayed at the first space as we only had a two wheel drive and it was muddy. Second place is much nicer! Small but sweet spot hidden in the woods with the river near by.
Report Check-InBeautiful place at the river with a picnic table. The last few meters is a little bit rough but we managed it with our van. unfortunately you can't drive directly to the river, yeah maybe with a very good small 4wd car or an atv. but the spot is great!
Report Check-InA tree blocked the dirt road, so we stayed near the road. You can hear the road and bridge.
