Description
Big park with a lot of space, public toilets and a cafe/restaurant.
We stayed here two nights after asking for a place to sleep at the maire's office (hotel de ville nearby). This place was build with EU funds (Integra programm) and with the purpose of creating employment in the city. Very friendly staff, you can ask the cafe to call one of the persons who manage the place (gérant). They all speak good French.
It's not for free, they will ask you to contribute with the amount you want, we gave 100 000 GF for the 2 nights (2 persons and 1 tent) and they were happies with that.
PS : Don't park too close to the cafe, the cooker puts loud music until 10:30pm.
