I was so glad to find this place on iOverlander. We were sick and worn out and looking for a comfy place to stay after crossing the border. We couldn’t have found a better spot.

The property is beautiful (nice shared rancho, pool, walking trails, gardens), the rooms are spacious, comfy, modern and very well appointed (induction stove, cookware, fridge, powerful AC, super nice hot shower in chic bathroom), the included breakfast is fantastic and Flory is happy to cook whatever you’re craving. The adjacent porch and hammock is great for morning coffee and afternoon birdwatching. Owner Flory and host Angie were both incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Angie offered to do our laundry on arrival for which we made sure to give her a nice tip.

It’s $90 per night for 2 people ($40 more per additional person), $50 for 1, which makes this super affordable for a solo traveler. We also had the option to pay $80 if we didn’t want breakfast but the breakfast was well worth the extra $10 and they let us choose when we wanted it delivered to our room (between 6-9 I believe).

The best way to check availability and make a reservation on short notice is to text Melí on WhatsApp 506 8823 4734.

Flory mentioned that they’ve had several cyclists (some who camp in the rancho) and overlanders come to the hotel and are planning to build some bathrooms and prepare a portion of the property for camping. Wouldn’t hurt to ask if they’re open for camping.

Wonderful spot in a beautiful part of the country!
