It it very Beautiful. If you are a kiter. This is a dream place and enough to launch your kite. For us there was not enough wind.
About the sleeping:
The moment its dark all the musquitos from argentina come to say hello. Do not know if its always like this. And in the evening cars came with musiq and locals are making bbq. I will not park here again personally for the night. For the day its perfect. Its also weekend now so how knows during the week, maybe more peachefull in the night.
About driving to this spot. Very easy, every car can do it. Just pick the easiest road, there are many options (we have VWT5)

Latest Check-Ins
There is a sign no camping in the beginning but it seems just to be for tents. A lot of Overlanders and big rigs are camping here. It’s for all kind of vehicles but in the final parts it’s easier with a 4WD.
Please take your rubbish and toilet paper with you!
Report Check-InWe stayed 3 nights. Perfect place !!! We love it. There are a lot of Argentins who stay here for the day and a little for the night. No much wind for us. We can swim it’s perfect !
Quedamos 3 noches. Perfecto Lugar !!! Nos gusta mucho ! Hay Muchas personas Argentinas vienen Aqui por el dia y un poco por la noche. No mucho viento para nosotros. Podemos bañarnos, perfecto !!
Report Check-InBeautiful place by the lake. It can be very windy. First night we had to move to the mirador because it was way too windy.
It seems that the sign « camping not allowed » is not relevant.
Maybe don’t come in summer during the weekend as it’s very popular.
