Latest Check-Ins

The ocean itself and its bay is beautiful (sublime) as always.
Only the far right end worth the way to come here since your view keeps away from trashes, dug up turtle nests and unfinished constructions. It might be good for people development somehow but not for environment for sure.
There is now a fisherman camp that you can get your fresh see food from. Very friendly people.
We did not see elephants :)

Report Check-In

We stayed at the right side of the bay. The construction works have continued and the sand is moved a lot and turned into a gravel pit. Some locals came to say hi. Great fishing spot. In the evening we were visited by hundreds of bees. This place is nice but we wouldn't do the detour again. The Offroad part is quite rocky and takes time.

What another Nice wildcamp (as every places we went in Angola). Stayed there 2 nights, nice clear water, no wind, no waves. Crazy sunset. This isolated beach is now a private property and will (unfortunately) soon become a city with a port ... Between the EN100 (tare) and the spot, we needed 1h30 (photo break included). From Equimina, landscapes are just amazing. No signal at all.

Such a nice place ! 30km of track to go there, a bit bumpy but nothing difficult. Last 3G signal in the village of Equimina, after there is no more. The last 6km are steep and rocky at some points. Wouldn’t recommend with big rigs, we saw a truck that felt down while going up… no problem with 4x4. Once in the bay they moved some sand so at first it looks in maintenance. But it’s very beautiful. We parked on the right side of the bay, there is plenty of different spaces. Clear and calm water especially in the morning, could see some turtles in the water, Milky Way night ! So peaceful, we really loved it :)
