Good quiet place. During the weekend there is a few pickup trucks with boats coming by. But quiet at night. Close to river. AT&T reception was good. Verizon worked a little on and off. Pit toilets ok. Enjoyed two nights here. Road was paved and fine.

Report Check-In

Seems like there are only 2 pull off spots. There are actual parking spots near the pit toilets, but we weren’t sure if those were overnight dispersed spots. The second spot where we went (near the boat ramp) is smaller and probably only for small camper/car with space for a tent, but we put our 25 foot camper van in no issue. The area is pretty secluded and there are weren’t any “no camping” signs that we found. The info board also says nothing about “no camping” — all it says is max stay is 3 days. No firepits where we are or that we saw. Pretty level.

4 spots, all taken when we looked. Easy access.

Awesome little spot. There are 3 RV campsites right along the River. We have a 38’ skoolie and fit just fine. Multiple tent camping sites. It does get a bit of use during the day with the locals, but quiet at night! The road is ROUGH getting back here. Just take your time and you will be fine! Gravel roads with lots of pot holes. Only a couple miles from the back entrance into Glacier Nat Park. About 30 min drive to the Apgar Visitor Center if you take Camas Rd. Seriously a perfect spot! Sign says 3 day limit, but we stayed for a week with nobody saying anything. Only one night it was full so we didn’t feel like we were taking away from anyone else being able to stay here. FREE!
