We stayed just up the logging road from this location. The dirt road is in good condition, but there was way more traffic than I expected. Everyone we met was very friendly, but I got the impression that a few of the locals were checking us out. Nobody bothered us and we had a good rest, but we left early because traffic started picking up early.

Use Nicholson Rd. from HWY 95, cross train tracks and river to the west, go on canyon creek road to the end of pavement.
