Unfortunately you are no longer allowed to spend the night at the parking of Mefou sanctuary. This spot is a perfect alternative. Hidden from the road, in the middle of the jungle, quiet at night, nobody bothered us.
For us, there was even room to set up our solar panels to charge our electric car. So there is enough space for at least 4 cars. Only the surface is not everywhere flat.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Very good place to spend the night after the sanctuary visit.
Enough space and very quiet. Some kids came in the morning to say hi.
Indeed a nice place to stay. You are visible from the road though; but nobody bothered us. People passing were friendly.
