Ferry for high vehicles.
Porto Olinda is the current port from which the San Marino ferry departs that goes from Manaus to Belem passing by Santarem and some other ports in the way. There are ships that depart every tuesday, and saturday.
The boat that receives taller cars (above 2m) is San Marino II & III. We contacted the boat staff directly and they told us the price for a car is 1700r, maybe you can negotiate for less.
You can arrange directly with them and not use an agency: Geisa Mainara: +55 91 98613-9794 for car space reservation not sure about hammocks since we bought through agent. The lady works at the boat.
You can sleep here the night before (or more if parking is ok for you). Parking is safe but dirty. You can also sleep on the boat and just leave the car at the parking. There are a WC and showers on the boat.
