A relatively new (open 2 years) large established campground with several loops to accommodate every type of camper - big rigs, small rigs, pop ups, and primitive camping. We were in a primitive site which had a flat pad and a fire ring. There was potable water sources throughout the loop and 2 port-a-lets.
There is a bathhouse at the office with toilets and hot showers. The bathhouse does require a code which is provided at checkin.
Wi-fi is provided near the office, but doesn’t reach all of the campsites. However, we had fairly decent internet with AT&T at our site.
We don’t have pets, but there is a dog park near the office. An RV dump station is shown on the property map.
The campground is very close to a couple of waterfalls (Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls) and a swimming hole (Blue Hole).

Came during the middle of the week. Checked in late online. Had a bonfire and the campground was very quiet and hardly occupied. Some of the sites aren’t very level, but it is a beautiful campground. Driving a 22 foot shuttle bus and the spaces were plenty big enough. My spot was a pull in parking with no hook ups for $45. There are other options but I also just learned that the state park nearby allows wild camping with a permit. I would’ve much rather stayed there.
Report Check-Inbeautiful area, next to 16k acres of savage gulf. winter camping is 50% off. SUPER clean free hot showers. Cute small little Cafe. campground store with essentials and snacks. waterfalls all around
