Description

Pato or Patricio Flores is a great mechanic for clutches transmissions “ manual”, and other drive train matters! We had a front bearing go out and were towed here. He and his staff did a great job! Reasonably priced and able to run to get parts. We had to order parts from the US and he knew a guy that had a courier service from the US at the Nissan dealer . We got parts in 10 days. We were able to camp with electric, water, and bathrooms at his garage. Not very clean , but it was great in our situation. We also had some cuts in the sidewalls of our tires repaired. Pato knows a guy with an autoclave. This is a machine that uses heat and pressure to vulcanize “ melt” rubber through the tire. Cost was 50$ each tire. A bargain considering these Michelin’s cost over 1000$ here in Ecuador. Secure safe parking and dog friendly! He has some sweet doggos too.

We stopped to get our starter looked and and possible an oil change.
They aren't what he does, so he had us follow him to the experts in both oil changes (lubricadora Iñiguez) and starter/electrical work (Servicio Eléctrico Automotriz CJ)
Wouldn't even take a tip. the folks at the Electical spot referred to him as maestro, always a good sign if you need mechanical work done

Buen lugar para reparar el camión, la transmisión y el torno quedaron muy bien. Se dedicó todo el día en ayudarnos Pato y su equipo.
En la noche pudimos salir, su equipo de trabajo muy gentiles todos. El precio muy bueno

Pato was nice. He sent us off to Calle Quito in town Center to pick up brake pads (taxi $2 each way). This street has everything you could need. He replaced them for $15 in just a few minutes. The trip to town took more time. We recommend him highly. We’re just a little Fiat... he seems more inclined towards working on big rigs. His jack was bigger than our car but he was more than happy to help us. We were grateful because our brakes were shot and we didn’t want to tear into our rotors.

Agree with Sean this is a good place for certain things. I had the same problem as Sean and they knew what to do.

Place dosent look pretty but him and his guys know what there doing. Also checked the rest of my truck out.
