picknic area in the hills | Informal Campsite

Plenty of locals go up here with normal cars so very possible with 2wd, but maybe not with a heavy 2wd overland vehicle. For our Land Cruiser very easy going.

Nice forested area in the hills with plenty of room all around, you can drive as far as you'd like. Not many flat spots but enough if you look around the area. Many locals picnicking during the day but completely quiet at night. Good internet reception with Asiacell.

not accessible with a 2wd (front wheel drive). the start of the road up is too steep, bumpy and dusty. maybe if you have rear wheel drive?

Very nice spot. Of course dificult to find as the „google-way“ is not poss as the step is to high. But drive further on and turn left through the forest. We drive a 2wd 7.5 tons MAN and had no problems. Be aware of the trees, but then you will have a perfect and quiet night. The first 400 meters after the street are extremely washed out, but ok..

i spend there à quiet and safe night. alone with my van. very good spot some trashes but easy to clean. take care of this place it s à lovely place.

Nice area. Many treks and possibilities to stay overnight. As described, some locals during the day but quiet at night. A little rubbish and some fireplaces. But we found this place much nicer than down by the river.
