On the way from Manaus to Porto Velho our first stop is here close to a big antenna off from BR319. Good place to spend the night. On BR319 you can find clean areas on the sides of the road with bitumen access and a house at the bottom of the antenna each 20 or 30 km. It was enough for us after ten hours driving on rough tracks and 415 km away from Manaus downtown from where we left at 7 a. m.

Stayed 1 night. Flat spots on a hardened road. A short road leading to a big fence with ‘restricted’ signs around the antenna area. Visible from the road, but not noticeable in the dark. We parked near the fence. Didn’t feel 100% like a good spot but there were little alternatives. Given wet season and constant rain, it was very muddy so happy with the solid ground. Saw a guy that seemed to live in the house. No signal.
Report Check-InQuite good for a night or two. I spent two nights here as I was resting my legs a bit. I got visitors twice during the day; technicians from embratel and claro showed up and they were really chill about me being there. They gave me some food and some water to stretch my rations. No mosquitoes when I was here which was awesome!!
Report Check-Inthe antennas are actually from 25 to 38 kilometers away one from another. I wouldn't recommend any other camp spot during the rainy season as all other road side spots would be boggy. actually, so is the entire road...
Report Check-InGood place to sleep. Tarmac ground but also some grass. A well with some water. A phone ringing every hour or so from the inside which was a bit creepy, but we survived :)
