the only spot we could find close to Sequoia NP Entrance.
the road is outside the town leading to some private properties. some cars pass but it's good for one night.
it's a turn-out next to the road, space for 4 Camper Vans or 2 Rigs.
Attention: Dead End Road?
we drove towards this spot from the town and turned around by pulling backwards. I don't know if there is any opportunity for bigger vehicles which can't turn around easily.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Slept at this place for a night. It does the job. We went with our kids and there’s no place for them to play since it is on the side of the road. Wouldn’t recommend for young kids but perfect for couples.
Report Check-InStayed here… and all I can say is if you care about yourself DONT STAY HERE! Stepped out of my van in the morning and was bitten by a rattlesnake, I was unable to call 911 because there is no service. After i crawled my way to a nearby neighbors house to call for help the residents said that 2 other people have been bitten here in the last year including a child!!!!! Sadly my adventures have now come to an end after being left with astronomical medical bills.
Report Check-InStayed here for one night in a regular car. It's a very pretty spot with very little through traffic, right next to a river. There's lots of private properties close by though, so best not to be too conspicuous, I reckon. No amenities and absolutely no cell reception (neither AT&T nor T-Mobile) for us.
Report Check-InThere are many pull outs at this road until it's closed when you are entering the NP. Not many cars came by and nice sunset.
