Something not right?

Description

Large campground with tent sites and yurts. Some spots are smaller and harder to maneuver if you have a bigger rig. Electricity and water at most sites. Dump station near entrance. Make sure to empty tanks before parking. Walking trails, beach access. 24$ tent camping if available. (Was not available upon our arrival in May) 34$ for full hook up if Oregon resident, 44$ if non-resident. Bathrooms not locked, not the nicest. Would probably be worth it for more than a one-night stay.

Stayed for one night. Beautiful campground with fairly private sites, trees between each one. The sign says no first come first serve, but the ranger let me pick a site. $22 with no hookups and $7 Firewood.

massive camping area. did not stay the night, but snuck in for a shower at 10.45pm. parked in day parking and walked in. registration booth was still open at 10.45p, but not at 11.05p when we left. showers are fine, nothing special.

Report Check-In

Registration is closed by 6pm. Self check in is possible but is confusing. Sites and prices not very clearly listed. There is “off duty” rangers present on site but they did not seem to be very knowledgeable of site rules. I attempted to ask one for help and she was kind but did not much clarity. Tent sites and group camping where blocked with a barricade so you could not drive a vehicle in. Unsure why. Full hook ups sites where plentiful but expensive. 35$ for Oregon resident, 44$ for non resident. Bathrooms not locked with a code so this is a place you could stop for a quick discreet shower. Would probably be a nice spot but was confusing and not worth the price for us.

This place is great. We loved the big playground area near the C spots. Some of the spots are a bit tricky to fit in, and so if you can, drive around and check out spots first.

We tried to get an overflow spot here but they said they stopped doing overflow a couple years ago.

Full for the 4th, but everyone is respectful of the camp hours. Quiet at 10 last night. Plenty of space to get around, small, but sufficient and clean bathrooms right next to space. Full hookups for 38’.

Report Check-In

Campground was packed, and people were noisy up until the 10PM cutoff. But everyone was quiet after that. Nice space, bushes between the spaces make them feel fairly private. Nice hiking areas nearby and easy beach access.

Asphalt, level and clean. pull thoughs and back ins. 50A, 30A,15A. Full hook ups. All amenities. Wi-fi is touchy as with most parks. Enjoyed our one night stay as we planned on going to aquarium and science center right up the street.
