quiet + clean (help keep it that way)! right past the town of Escalante, sand road with handful of pull offs for vehicles.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Just off the highway but tucked away. The road coming from the highway pull off was very uneven and rutted but levels out quickly. No issue in 2WD mid clearance promaster.
Report Check-InSeems to be where a lot of locals walk their dogs so it got busy around sunrise/sunset. Nice spot, but I wouldn’t stay for more than an overnight.
Report Check-InAwesome place to stay just a few miles outside of Escalante... ok for 2 wd, at least 2 bars of verizon cell service. Anything larger than a van might be tricky to turn around.
Report Check-InSandy Road is easy to miss, no markings. It’s west of the town of Escalante, entrance on the south side of the road. Initial entry a bit rough but once past that, sandy and flat. Great views. Quiet. Great cell service.
