Stayed 2 nights. The arrival was messy. First a closed gate and nobody picked up the phone. After yelling and honking for 20min they finally let us in. We asked a couple of times about 220V power outlets so we can park nearby to plug in. They point to the front garden, let us manoeuvre over the terrain with height limit (3.40M). When parked, they said there is no 220V there. In the end we parked underneath their carport which was nice, levelled and dry. But this together took 1,5 hours which is annoying when it’s late night.
The description gives an idea that it is in nature/forest. In reality it’s just a house in a residential area. It’s not really a camping, only 1 shower and toilet in their home which the family uses too, so bit crowded and no privacy. 40BRL pp per night which we found too expensive for what you get. We used the washing machine (only cold water) for 20BRL per round. Owners are very kind and gave us some fruit from the garden.
Report Check-Init's a very nice camping ground. the owners are still developing it, but you can use their kitchen, washing machine or woodstove. It's next to a lake and they now have a beautiful little pier on it where you can observe macaws, monkeys and fish. There are also no mosquitos and it's safe to go running. Rosane and Breno help you with everything you need. we wanted to stay just one night and stayed for a week. so, definitely one of the more beautiful places along that route.
Report Check-InGreat Place with great facilities and the most friendly Owners. They do speak English. Fast wifi and really clean Bathrooms and Shower.
Really nice relaxing spot with great hosts. When they tell you to “fica a vontade” it really comes from the heart. Had planned on one night and ended up staying a week. They’re still working on getting all the infrastructure set up, but the basics are all there already. Plenty of araras.
Report Check-Inbeautiful setting and extremely friendly and down to earth owners, who really make you feel home!
huge space and fantastic Wifi!
It is a paradise for birdwatching, especially huge parrots (type Aras / Macaws).
Camping das Araras, ainda em formação a grama, mas muitos lugares já estão prontos.
