We found this spot when driving toward the spot further down the road. It is a small pull-off, large enough for two or three vehicles.
No “no camping” signs, and not much traffic throughout the night. Slept well and felt safe.
It has a bit of an incline, so be prepared.

Great spot for one night. Next to the road but not much traffic at night. There is a decent slope so not ideal but did the job for a night in a campervan
Report Check-InBeautiful spot just past the marked location slept all through the night with no issues if you park your vehicle correctly you can get it pretty level. 2 vehicles with roof top tents no issues we set are roof top tents up here.
Report Check-InTons of pull off areas here. Some car traffic at night but no problems and nobody bothered us. There is a hike nearby but it says no dogs allowed. The views off the edge are beautiful in the morning and the mist touches the mountains.
Report Check-Inbeautiful view. very little traffic at night, so it's quiet. nice dark sky for stargazing. on an incline, so not flat, but it's free! good cell signal with t-mobile
Report Check-InThere are a ton of pull offs here. We spent the night a little further up from this one with no issues. Very little traffic, great view of the bay. There is an incline you cannot get away from, so be prepared. It didn't bother me, but if your traveling with a Goldielocks, it will bother them.
